Experiment rules & transparency
One Million Strangers is a personal social experiment. Participation is voluntary.
What a contribution is
A contribution does not purchase a product or service, is not an investment, does not create ownership, and does not promise a financial return, prize, advertising, sponsorship, or preferential treatment.
What participants receive
Participants may choose a public nickname, country, short message and receive a sequential participant number and referral link. These are elements of the experiment and not goods with monetary value.
Rankings
Leaderboards rank referrals and country participation, not spending. Paying more does not provide a competitive advantage.
Payments
Payments are processed by PayPal. Refund rights and payment disputes remain subject to applicable law and PayPal rules. Before public launch, these terms should be reviewed for the operator’s actual jurisdiction.
No charitable claim
This project does not represent itself as a charity or charitable fundraiser.
